Another eventful month and, in between a few of the Sharp crew taking some well-deserved summer holidays, the rest of the team has been at large at client and industry events.

AJ tops the list of Business Leaders to Look Out for in 2022

AJ has topped the list of The NYC Journal’s round-up of Top Ten Business Leaders To Look Out for in 2022.  She’s being very modest about it, but we all think it’s an incredible achievement and credit to all her hard work and passion for helping good food and drink businesses.

Great Taste Finale. The Golden Forks
Anna, Isabella and AJ were delighted to play a part of the Great Taste finale, the Golden Forks ceremony, on Monday 5th September. It was all hands on deck, helping to set up Southwark Cathedral and host guests at the first ever consumer foodie event, the Great Taste Golden Forks Preview Tasting. (Insert pic of two ladies eating ice cream) The ceremony itself took place in the evening at Southwark Cathedral, opening its doors to the great and the good from the world of food. It was like the “Oscars of the Food World”, with writers, critics, judges and journalists coming together to celebrate the best food from the UK and across the World.

And attended by national media and TV personalities like Jay Rayner, Juliet Sear, Andy Clarke, James Golding, Druv Baker, Martha Collinson, Philli Armitage-Mattin, Santosh Shah and Crystelle Pereira.

The Sharp team supported the amazing Guild of Fine Food team to ensure that all went smoothly.  It was a knockout event that crowned the small but mighty Fermented Fresh Green Kampot Peppercorn from Kadode as the Supreme Champion.

Speciality & Fine Food Fair
We were supporting the Guild of Fine Food team at Speciality & Fine Food Fair at Olympia, helping to run a press conference in the Taste Trends Kitchen, hosted by Guild of Fine Food’s John Farrand and Michael Winter from Kadode, creators of Fermented Kampot Peppercorns, the Great Taste Supreme Champion.

AJ was happy to taste some incredible Wagu beef seasoned with the Kampot Peppercorns, created by chef Steve Walpole and his team!

Lunch! & Casual Dining Show

It was great to meet up with lots of clients and contacts at Lunch! and Casual Dining Shows in the Excel Building this month.
