Leading food and drink PR agency Sharp Relations has been appointed by Vittles Foods to promote its Mondelez branded range of desserts. The agency has also been chosen to deliver a PR campaign for LUXLO, a new lower-alcohol, lower-calorie spirit perfect for gin lovers.
Sharp Relations, whose clients include vegan bakery and egg alternative brand OGGS®, fine food retailer Macknade and low & no-alcohol beer subscription service Sobersauce, will deliver strategic trade and consumer PR campaigns for both brands.
The agency will drive consumer demand for Vittles Foods’ Mondelez branded range of desserts, which include Toblerone® and Daim® cheesecakes and Cadbury® Brownie desserts.
For LUXLO, the Sharp Relations team will deliver a trade and consumer brand awareness-raising campaign to increase distribution, grow sales and raise investment for the business.
Says Sharp Relations managing director, AJ Sharp: “We’re hugely excited to be working with both Vittles and LUXLO – two tantalising propositions. LUXLO is a premium mid-proof, low-calorie gin spirit set to shake up the category, aimed squarely at the new flexi-consumer. Vittles’ range of indulgent puddings featuring world-famous chocolate brands Toblerone, Daim, and Cadbury’s will have mass consumer appeal when it comes to reliable, easy wins for entertaining and celebrations as lockdown restrictions ease.”
Rapid expansion
The new client wins have helped fuel the agency’s rapid expansion with the appointment of Clare Pope as Head of Clients & Content. Clare brings a wealth of food, drink and hospitality PR experience to the team with more than 20 years spent working in agency roles and most recently as an independent PR consultant.
Clare will be responsible for overseeing the day to day running of client campaigns, supporting the account management teams, creating content for the agency and new business development.
