Sharp's Purpose-Built Recording Studio

From corporate podcasting to broadcasting, audio book editions to self help guides, the studio is extremely popular.

Businesses or individuals can book the studio space for a whole day, half day or by the hour.

If required, the Sharp team will be on hand to support you with studio management, messaging strategy, media training or production editing.

Sharp’s studio is consistently busy and usually books a minimum of a month ahead, so please book any studio time as early as possible to avoid disappointment. If you have specific dates in mind then please contact the studio a minimum of six weeks in advance.

Booking Details

All days are eight hours long, although longer days can be arranged in advance for an extra cost. The £295 full day rate is available to any competent artist, engineer or producer and includes assistance at the start of the session if required.

Full payment is required to confirm a booking. This will be arranged via Stripe payment link. All of our studio prices include an engineer (except for the non-engineer full day rate) and use of all the studio equipment.

Our Services

Audio Recording

We can facilitate up to 4 in-studio guests and additional remote guests via Bluetooth connectivity.

Audio Editing

Sharp offers audio editing services to suit your specific requirements charged by the hour.

Audio Compression

All recorded audio can be edited and compressed by our in-house engineers.

Audio Exporting

We will keep copies of your original and edited audio for 90 days as backup.

Our Recording Types

We set a minimum of 2 hours for every booking to allow time for setup, getting you comfortable using the equipment, and perform some test recordings.

If your recording runs over your original booked time, and no slots are booked after your time, we will continue to charge your use at our hourly rate.

Hourly

Minimum 2 hour booking.

Half Day

4 hours with engineer.

Full Day

8 hours with engineer.

Editing

Editing, compressing and exporting of recordings.

Our Studio Location

The Studio is situated within Sharp’s accessible office space at Evegate Business and Retail Park, 3 miles from junction 10A of M20.

The office is on the ground floor and benefits from ample parking and a fully equipped show kitchen, with oven and hob. The recording equipment has been designed to be accessible with a height adjustable desk for comfort.
